BW Hadli's Stuyvesant Hero***SOLD*** 2023
Hero’s life is a blessing. We waited, resting on the hay bales late into the night while Hadli’s labor was in process. After enough time had passed and still no sign of little Hero’s front feet we did an examination…only to discover he was presented backwards in the birth canal. As we tugged on his rear feet to attach the calf puller, little Hero tugged back letting us know he was alive and ready to meet his new world; what a joy! Within minutes he did just that, Hadli was a champ and all troubles forgotten when she met her brand new baby boy. A little resuccitation and Hero was alive and well. I think his affectionate personality is an indirect “thank you” for that late October night. He has the thick, short stature of mom, Hadli, and the easy, loving temperament of dad, Dominic; a great asset to any herd. He will be weaned and halter trained by April of 2022….ready for his new home.
